Just wanted to call attention to another addition to the (marvellous!) NZ On Screen site, where my good friend Barbara from the (marvellous!) Turnbull Library in New Zealand has written a biography of Kiwi actor Winter Hall, who followed Rupert & Elsie to Hollywood and worked with them on several occasions. He had also toured with the Julius Knight company, which they'd been part of as well - so they probably knew each other for some time before he arrived.
To be honest, I didn't know most of what Barbara has uncovered - so it was great to hear a little about another New Zealander over there, working with the two I have heard a fair bit about!
